"Honey"

Everyone, meet Honey...
My friend Claren and I share a common burden for abused and mistreated dogs... A few days ago, Claren was in town and we got to talking about this boxer she had met at a Richmond Shelter. From what she was told, Honey is about 8 years old, and suffers from hip dysplasia. She has an extremely difficult time getting up and cannot walk up and down stairs. The surgery to fix Honey can cost anywhere between $1,800 - $4,000, depending on just how bad off she is. The sad part is that its not likely anyone will adopt her, regardless of how wonderful she is, because of the cost of the surgery. Claren and I (and Claren's wonderful boyfriend, Richard!) have decided to adopt Honey, and do everything we possibly can to raise the money for her surgery. After she is fully healed and back to her wonderful self, we will then begin the process of finding her the perfect home. We will be picking her up on Saturday, and I am so excited to meet her! If there is anything you would like to do to help Honey, its greatly appreciated.
